Severus was quite pleased. It was the first day of school, and he'd already given Harry Potter a detention. Plus, Gryffindor was down fourty points. Yes siree, it was a good day. Severus seated himself at his desk, and began marking the over-holidays homework he'd given one of his classes, practically humming with glee at the misery he would put Harry Potter through, as soon as he arrived...

Harry marched into the classroom with a dead cold expression plastered to his face. He was not as flushed as he had been earlier, having had the opportunity to rest up a bit before he was plagued with Snape's 'detention reminder letter'. Harry did not mutter a single word, believing so strongly that Snape did not deserve a shred of respect from him or any other decent person at Hogwarts. His thoughts bounced back and forth on this topic, and he was inclined on using his anger to power him through the entire session. Quickly, Harry took a seat as close to the door as humanly possible, wanting more than anything to blow through the session without a second thought.
Harry stared down at his desk, only lending Snape his ears for the small moment in which he would give Harry instructions. There were millions of better things he could have been doing, but instead he had been cruelly forced into detention by a big-headed Potions master.

Severus ignored the Potter boy as he continued to mark the papers. He slowly marked the pages, finishing off the essay he was marking before casually setting down his quill, and carefully sealing his ink bottle. "Now, Potter. So nice of you to show up." He rested his elbows on his desk and placed the tips of his fingers together, looking over them at the boy. "You will be sorting Plimpy organs. Stomaches in one bottle, livers in another and kidneys in a third. Do make sure you pull out the rotten ones. The fresh ones will be nice and firm, with a greenish hue, but the rotten ones... well, you'll see." He smirked at Potter. "Follow me to the store room. Oh, and I shall need your wand... no magic in detention." He sneered evilly as he stood and led the way to the store room, where he watched the boy sharply. "And do try not to steal anything."

"I'll do my best," Harry muttered sarcastically as he stood and started after Snape. Enveloping his wand within his hand, Harry found himself extremely tentative about giving Snape his wand. With a stone cold expression on his face, Harry handed Snape his wand and snapped his arm away as if he would have been infected if he had held it any longer. The store room was rather basic in Harry's orbs, but what stood out was a chill that overtook the room. He gritted his teeth in anger, trying as best he could to control his temper. Snape's sneering expression etched itself into Harry's mind, as he had absolutely no way of removing the horrid look from his thoughts. "I just want to get out of here!" Harry thought to himself angrily, waiting for Snape to point out the organs before he could begin the vile deed. At that moment, Harry was positive there was no way he could dread Snape and his class anymore. The feeling was overwhelming, so much so that Harry was forced to make tight fists in his hand. He realized he would have looked mad, so Harry took a deep breath and wiggled his fingers free.

Severus took the wand from Harry with a feeling of satisfaction. He pointed to an immense shelf against the left wall. "The organs are there. I shall return in a few hours to see how far you've gotten." He smirked at the boy and turned on his heel, leaving Harry to his devices.

As Snape turned and walked away, Harry muttered a few curses. He approached the impossibly large shelf, sighing with disbelief as he grabbed the first case of organs and lifted the plexiglass flap. Gagging with disgust, Harry jerked his head away violently as he tried to avoid the odor seeping out. Completely horrified, Harry slipped on a pair of gloves left on the shelf and reached down into the case. He grimaced, feeling each curve and squish of the organ in his hand. "Is this a stomach or a liver!" Harry shouted with frustration. Taking a mental guess, Harry placed the disfigured, acid green organ and placed it into the liver jar. He continued to sort cases full of organs, now slightly able to distinguish a Plimpy stomach from a Plimpy liver. The stomachs were usually a bit larger, and they did not seep as much unidentified goo as livers did. Kidney's were much different from the too, resembling something like a lima-bean bewilderment-one of Ron's new favorite sweets. "I won't eat another one of those for as long as I live," Harry vowed beneath his breath.
Before long, Harry was extremely vexed by the newer supply of Plimpy organs. They were much more slippery than the older ones by the door, making them harder to grasp. By one point, Harry could have sworn he saw one of the stomachs move. "I have to get out of here," Harry thought to himself, speeding up his sorting and organizing process. After an hour and a half, Harry stood back from the shelf with a rather satisfied, yet exhausted expression plastered to his face. "I can't believe I did all that," He commented loudly, pulling off his gloves and throwing them down carelessly. His fingers pressed into fists a few times, then wriggling free.
