"I know." Holly said softly, trailing her hand through the water and watching in slight puzzlement as the ripples began to grow, "But, why didn't you think I'm the sort-of person who'd like Hogwarts at...er, night."

She pondered the question "You just seem as though you would like it better to be in the sunshine" Lily said finally "Nothing against you of course" she added hastily making sure that she hadn't offended Holly in any way

"No offense taken." Holly exclaimed, "Really? Do I actually seem like that? Wow. You really do not know me...no offense. My real personality is more, I dunno, dark and mysterious."
Holly shrugged slightly, unsure whether to be happy that she was changing for the better of unhappy at losing some of the coldness and suspiousion in her life.
Maybe she could be both. Maybe to friends she could be this new sunny, humourous and fun to be with person and on the inside she kept her old self, where she didn't tell anyone her secrets and prefered to have some mystery surronding her.

Alex was lazing around by the lake watching the fish jumping around and watching for any sign of the giant squid. He then felt tired and lay back on the grass staring up at the sky and watching the birds circle overhead. It was a wonderful day and he was in a good mood and lazing around seemed to be the best thing to do.
He became aware of a couple of girls behind him talking about, as far as he could make out, something to to with darkness, a most inappropriate conversation for such a bright cheerful day.
